A brief history
Established in 1986
The business initially focused on supplying dyestuffs and auxiliary chemicals to the textile industry. Over the years different product offerings were added and by the early 2000s CCS had become a general chemical supplier to various sectors. Liquid and powder blending facilities were also added and this helped facilitate the development of numerous manufactured products and allow specific liquid dilutions for customers. CCS’s five acre site contains a number of secure warehouses and bunded bulk liquid storage tanks. We are one of the few chemicals distributers who can offer in-house laboratory facilities, pilot plant and contract manufacturing to our chosen markets and clients.
Currently the business serves a wide range of sectors in the UK and Ireland including agriculture, automotive, building and construction, detergents/hygiene, food, paints/printing, pharmaceutical and water treatment. CCS is also very prominent in the dairy hygiene and Ad Blue markets with the ‘PureChem’ and ‘PureBlue’ brands. We represent a number of leading chemical manufacturers for distribution in Ireland and also source products globally. We aim to offer customers the right product at the right time whilst providing value for money.
Distribution is completed by our own fleet of ADR compliant vehicles. CCS has the ability to directly control many aspects of the supply chain from storage, blending, packing and delivery. This gives CCS unrivalled service and flexibility to meet customer demands.
